100 Things in 2025
The other day I googled "is the yield curve inverted?" and couldn't find an easy answer. That inspired me to make a fun little website to answer that question. But something clicked: I had fun building it like I hadn't had fun building things for years.
So here's my challenge for 2025: 100 projects. Nothing needs to be monetizable or perfect or even have users. Just have some fun. (Maybe we'll learn a little something along the way.)
Currently at 4/100 projects
($12.07 spent on silly domain names so far)
#1 istheyieldcurveinverted.today
Single-purpose site that shows the current US Treasury yield curve and whether it's inverted. Updates daily with clear visual explanation of what it means for recession risk.
#2 freesimpleresume.com
A dead-simple resume builder. No account required, no paywalls, no BS. Just type your details and get a clean, professional PDF resume in minutes. It generates a PDF purely on the frontend!
#3 Capture My Site
After a few projects, I realized I needed a way to showcase the projects. This site automatically screencaps a website, frames it aesthetically, and exports to PNG.
#4 mattvaughn.site
I need somewhere to show off my projects. Let's make a site for that!
